Tower Locations
We currently provide fixed wireless Internet and phone service to homes and businesses throughout Central Oregon (see our Central Oregon Internet Coverage Map). We are constantly securing tower sites and expanding our wireless internet coverage to build a comprehensive, reliable network over the High Desert.

Wireless Network
The Yellowknife Wireless Network is comprised of high reliability Point to Point and Point to Multipoint service data radios. Our wireless network trunks utilize proprietary, full duplex wireless equipment capable of carrying TDM, SONET and Fast Ethernet media.

Unmatched Performance on the Wireless Medium
By utilizing full duplex links in high traffic sections of our network, we avoid the latency and throughput degradation inherent in satellite systems and TDD based radio systems, such as 802.11 (Wi-Fi). Yellowknife utilizes modern radio technology which consistently outperforms 802.11 and 802.11-based (WiFi) systems in real-world RF conditions.

True High Speed Internet to Rural Central Oregon
The Yellowknife Wireless system gives you consistent, burstable bandwidth. Systems based on 802.11 have decidedly poorer performance as the distance between the access point and the subscriber module grows - the further you live away from the base station, the slower your access will be. Yellowknife Wireless delivers the same full bandwidth over our entire service area. Thus, we are able to provide reliability and packet per second performance comparable to wireline based services.

Data Center
Our operations center is located in Downtown Bend. Our main Internet feed comes through BendTel at 1000 Mbps. We utilize their extensive Internet peering arrangements to provide low latency connections throughout the northwest. The operations center is fully equipped with a redundant AC power plant with conditioned power.
